OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 September was announced, that the Branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in St. Petersburg executed two insurance contracts with ZAO Meatland Logistics and Distribution for commercial stock of meat products (pork, beef, chilled and frozen poultry).

The insured amount under the two contracts is RUR 150 mln. Pursuant to the terms of the contracts, the commercial stock is insured against fire, thunderbolt, gas explosion, natural calamities, damage by water, theft and break-in, and ill-intended third party actions.

Meatland Logistics and Distribution is part of Meatland Food Group of companies. Meatland Food Group is an integrated association of companies representing a full cycle of commercial in the market of meat products, from butchering to delivery of products to the end customer. Meatland buys raw meat from domestic producers and outside Russia and takes care of its cutting, processing, storage and transportation. It supplies processed meat to local meat processing factories and produces prefabricated meat, and supplies meat and prefabricated meat to retail outlets, primarily to large retail chains.

The Branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in St. Petersburg started its operation in 2001. Before then, Ingosstrakh operated in the Leningrad Region through its representative office since 1956.
