OREANDA-NEWS. September 12, 2008. Director of “Far-Eastern Bureau” representative office of OJSC “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” Larisa Bykova participated in the meeting of reinsurers of Far-Eastern federal district which took place on 9th of September 2008 in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. More than 60 active companies attended this event.

The meeting was organized by All-Russian Union of Insurers, which holds such scheduled meetings in all federal districts. Such problems as the condition and the development of the insurance market of the Far East were discussed during the meeting.

In December 2003 it was decided to establish Far-Eastern representative office of OJSC “Transsiberian Reinsurance Corporation” in Nakhodka. For almost five years of its existence it managed to take dominant position in the reinsurance market of Primorski Krai and the Far-East.
