OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 September  was announced, that Moscow is ready to raise an up-to-date tourist complex at Solovki in the Arkhangelsk region.

“An extreme tourism, agricultural tourism, the tourism at Solovki can become a very significant help to the budget of the region,” Moscow City Mayor Yuri Luzhkov told Iliya Mikhalchuk, head of the Arkhangelsk region, at Moscow City Hall on September 10.

The Moscow City Mayor suggested that Mr Mikhalchuk should take steps to form a common tourist base at Solovki.
