OREANDA-NEWS  On 12 September was announced, that National Agricultural University (NAU) will held conference "Quality and safety of food: allocation of responsibilities among economic players and government bodies. Modernization of technical and legal aspects for implementation of WTO and EU standards: history of successes and future difficulties in Ukraine" on September 23-24, 2008.

Sections of the conference:

Codex Alimentarius, ISO standards and national standards.

Cooperation among states and private laboratories, national reference-laboratories.

Legal aspects, accordance to WTO and EU requirements, implementation of principles of mutual food recognitions.

Organizers: Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine, Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, National Agricultural University, Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation.
