OREANDA-NEWS. On September 11, 2008 It  was informed at the investment and construction company MVK INGINERIE owning a 26.5 hectare land in Chisinau municipality in the region of the South-direction bus station that building of the city’s new micro-district began on this territory.

The first 9.3 hectare land zone adjoining to the Hincesti motorway will be built up with commercial real estate of the total area of over 100 thousand square meters comprising a large shopping center, a first-class hotel and a business-center.

The bordering 8.2-hectare and 9-hectare lands are intended for the state-by-stage construction of the dwelling houses: 115 individual cottages connected to gas-, electric-, telephone networks, sewerage as well as public recreation centers, social and technical objects.

The company’s representatives informed that the budget of the 3.5-year project amounts to over 90 mln. euro. The project is included into the General City Development Plan. It is planned to launch a new trolleybus line connecting Chisinau and Ialoveni within the framework of the project.

According to the company, construction of the first cottage village Alpina Village within the framework of the CB Investprivatbank’s project – “Casa Blanca” mortgage program, is in the final stage.
