OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 September was announced, that division of generation and distribution assets between Irkutskenergo and Irkutsk Electric Networks will not affect tariffs for transmission of the electric power through networks of Irkutsk Electric Grid Company. This was declared by General Director of Irkutskenergo Andrey Konovalov at the Friday briefing following the results of the Company extraordinary shareholders meeting. Estimating possible reaction of the market to reorganization of the power company, he noted that the market "swallowed this information 8 months ago", thus he did not give estimation of the grid company assets market value.

The briefing clarified that the capital stock of JSC Irkutsk Electric Networks equals RUR 21.2 billion. It was generated due to property of JSC Irkutskenergo. The capital stock is divided into more than 4 billion ordinary shares of 4.45 rubles each. The capital stock includes both the transmission (55 %) and distribution networks (45 %). According to the General Director of JSC Irkutskenergo, the process of spin-off of Irkutsk Grid Company should come to an end till the end of 2008.
