OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 September was announced, that the aggregate written premium under direct insurance contracts entered by Ingosstrakh branches coordinated by the Chernozemie Regional Center (RC) in 1H 2008 amounts to RUR 364 690 k, or 59% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 295 334 k (+74%), including RUR 28 570 k (+33%) in private insurance, RUR 257 259 k (+80%) in property insurance and RUR 9 670 k (+129%) in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 69 356 k (+16%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh under direct insurance contracts in the reporting period amounted to RUR 183 476 k(+149%), including RUR 10 140 k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 130 891 k in property insurance, and RUR 254 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 42 191 mln.

The Chernozemie Regional Center accounts for Ingosstrakh’s branches in Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Kursk, Lipetsk, Orel and Tambov regions.
