OREANDA-NEWS  On 11 September was announced, that UNDP conducted a seminar in Pavlodar on new international obligations of Kazakhstan in the area of human rights. The event was attended by the lawyers and human rights advocates of the locality and led by the experts from Ebert Foundation from Germany.

Needless to say that despite the fact that Kazakhstan acceded a package of Conventions on human rights, including the International Convention on civic and political rights, currently the international agreements are not directly used in the judiciary practice of the country, whereas the national legislation is not harmonized with these international treaties.
