OREANDA-NEWS. On September 04, 2008, within the working visit of the Federal President of the Federal Republic of Germany, in Kazakhstan was held the Day of Deutsche Boerse in Almaty, reported the press-centre of KASE.

The organizer of this event is Deutsche Boerse Group with assistance of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE).

The mentioned event was implemented in two phases:

- the first phase - the presentation of Deutsche Boerse Group of its products and services - was implemented in the Hotel Intercontinental Almaty the Ankara in Kazakhstan;

- the second phase - simultaneous sessions on IPO and European Market of Repo and Bonds - took place in the office of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange.

In addition, Deutsche Boerse and KASE CEOs discussed issues related to extension of future exchange groups' cooperation.

In the event participated 60 people: representatives of government bodies (the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation and Supervision of Financial Market and Financial Organizations, the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan on Regulation of Activities of the Regional Financial Center of Almaty), the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan, international organizations, listed companies, the securities market professional participants.
