OREANDA-NEWS. On September 10, 2008 The Government has approved national measures of the 2009 State Budget bill at its sitting. This was informed by Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko at a press conference.

“These indices display stable economic development of the country, complete abolishment of inflation and entitle to count on stable and successful living of the country in 2009,” the Premier said.

As Yulia Tymoshenko told that the main characteristics of the 2009 budget had been endorsed which provide for extra 100 billion UAH to the supply (as against the state budget of the current year). These funds, according to Yulia Tymoshenko, give an opportunity, in particular, to increase pensions and wages and finance completely the preparation for the Euro-2012 Football Championship.

Besides, Yulia Tymoshenko gave a protocol commission to the Ministry of Finance to prepare a consolidated draft of the basic financial document till Saturday so that “at Saturday’s sitting the Government could adopt the 2009 budget bill as it is stipulated by the law, till 15 September to submit it to the Verkhovna Rada.
