Romanovskoe Grain-Processing Enterprise Receives New-Crop Wheat
OREANDA-NEWS On 10 September was announced, that over 3 tonnes of new-crop wheat grain had already been put into storage at Romanovskoe grain processing enterprise. The produce which partners shipped on the enterprise is marked by high quality: the grain is large, rich in gluten. Currently, Romanovskoe is receiving wheat of elite sort.
Harvesting campaign in the Romanovsky district is complicated by rain. These days combines virtually don’t conduct operations in the field, the weather does not allow thrashing. Therefore, Romanovskoe enterprise is mostly occupied in underworking of grain now. On average, nearby farmsteads deliver about 50 tonnes of wheat per day to the enterprise. “Harvesting is difficult now, every arable unit is undertaking efforts to gather crop before rains. Therefore, all enterprises begin thrashing as first opportunity arises and deliver grain later, when wheat is carried away from the fields. Consequently, we’ll have our busiest time receiving grain later, as well. After the rains, the moisture content in grain is likely to increase, but we are ready for this”, stressed Nikolay Kostenko, Director of Romanovskoe enterprise.
Besides, the Romanovskoe grain processing enterprise already received about 400 tonnes of peas and nearly 1,000 tonnes of oats. It should be noted that PAVA supports the enterprise in provision of wide range of services and advantageous financial terms for purchasing new-crop grain. Romanovskoe is part of PAVA’s structure, the largest grain processor in the Altay Territory. OJSC PAVA is among three leaders of the industry in Russia. Following the operational results in 2007, when the company shipped 17% of the total volume of exported flour to the countries of far and near abroad, Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade announced PAVA Best Exporter of the Industry. Owing to reliable reputation of a large, rapidly developing company, it is possible not only to allocate considerable internal funds for purchases of grain but also to attract credit to ensure purchase of raw materials.
