OREANDA-NEWS  On 10 September was announced, that NASK "Оranta" concluded 134 summer contracts of complex subsidized insurance, having received UAH 5, 671,000,00 of insurance proceeds. The winter and spring crops with total area of 41,5 ths. ha in 19 regions were insured: Zhytomyr, Lviv, Vinnytsya, Zaporizhya, Ivano-Frankivsk, Crime, Lugansk, Donetsk, Mykolayv, Kherson, Cherkassy, Chernigiv, Khmelnytskiy, Poltava , Ternopil, Sumy, Kirovograd, Odesa, Mariupol. "Today we have applications with regard to summer losses to the amount of about UAH 5 mln., including the applications from the farms which suffered from flood in Chernovtsy, Ivano-Frankivsk and Lviv regions" — declared Mr. Grabyna Vyacheslav, Deputy Chairman of the NASK "Orants" Board, having noted increase in the company's proceeds from this type of insurance as compared with the last year — 300%. Now, NASK "Oranta" is going to conduct a campaign for insurance of winter crop risks in winter 2008-2009.

It should be noted that the Company "Oranta" paid out UAH 9,940,000,00 under 179 contracts for winter crop insurance in winter 2007-2008.
