Astana-Finance Paid Off Syndicated Loan in Size of USD50 mln
OREANDA-NEWS. On September 05, 2008 Astana-finance (Astana), the listed company of Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE), provided to KASE the press release of the following content, reported the press-centre of KASE:
Astana-finance (Kazakhstan, Astana), on September 2, 2008 paid off the syndicated loan in the size of USD50,000,000 m.
Deutsche Bank AG, London acted as the syndicated loan organizer. Interest rates on paying off the syndicated loan made up 6M LIBOR +1.2%. The Agreement of the syndicated loan was signed in September 2007.
According to the consolidated financial statements data for the first half of 2008 on IFRS, as of June 30, 2008, the company assets made up KZT 271 bn., the own capital - KZT38 bn. The company's main shareholder is Fund of Sustainable Development Kazyna, which as of July 1, 2008 owned 25.51% of the company's voting shares.
The company has the following ratings of international rating agencies:
- Moody's Investors Service: the long-term rating on liabilities in the foreign currency - "Ba1", the forecast - stable
- Fitch Ratings: the long-term rating of the issuer default "BB+", the short-term rating of the issuer default - "B", individual rating - "D/E", support rating - "3" and the level of support of the long-term rating of the issuer default - "BB+".
