OREANDA-NEWS. September 9, 2008. Dmitry Ivanovich Tveritinov was born in Kramatorsk, Donetsk region, Ukrainian USSR, in 1967. In 1993 he graduated from Thermal Power Plants Department of Moscow State Open University.

Tveritinov has worked in the nuclear industry for over 20 years. He started his career as engineer and shift manager at Balakovo Nuclear Power Plant. In 2004–2005 he was the first deputy head of the BushehrAtomstroy directorate of Atomstroyexport CJSC. Before the appointment he was the deputy director for development of Rosenergoatom Concern.

Tveritinov has been awarded the Medal for Services to Fatherland, 2nd class, and Rosatom and Rosenergoatom’s medals.
