OREANDA-NEWS  On 09 September was announced, that arable units of the PAVA company, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, are finishing the sowing campaign of winter crops.

Allac Ltd. (Kamensky district, the Altay territory) was the first among PAVA enterprises to complete winter crop sowings. The total planted area stood at 1230 ha of rye and 50 ha of wheat. The Allac enterprise purchased elite rye seeds of ‘Chulpan’ and ‘Vlada’ varieties for the first time for this campaign. Operations were conducted on new machinery – Canadian seeder unit Morris.

Agrofirma Niva (Soltonsky district, the Altay territory) is also close to completing the campaign. Today, 95% of the planned volume of winter rye is sown, winter wheat sowings are 100% complete.

PAVA arable units in the Krasnoyarsk territory – Bulatovo Ltd., Prichulymsk Ltd. and Bolsheuluisk Ltd. - have reported the campaign’s ending, too. In these enterprises, rye was sown for the first time, and the total planted area amounted to 500 ha.
