OREANDA-NEWS  On 09 September was announced, that modernization of the power station that was finished in July 2008 allowed to increase considerably energy supply reliability and reduce energy shortage in Perm-Zakamsk energy center.

On August 23rd, 2008 the amount of electric energy generation by a new turboset T-35/55-16 st. No.2 that was set in operation at the beginning of July, reached the mark of 50 million K.W.H. T Introduction of turboset No.2 provided growth of electric energy generation at Perm HPP-14 by 35.8 million K.W.H. This growth was achieved both due to work of a new turboset and the opportunity of a backpressure turbine load that works together with it.

The project of Perm HPP-14 power development realized within IES-Holding investment program, is unique by its technology. At the generating station they reconstructed the backpressure turbine P-50 and installed the attached turbine T-35/55 that increased operating power of the station by 85 megawatt.

A new turboset T-35/55 uses in its work the steam of the reconstructed turbine P-50, which was delayed before. Such technology provided considerable growth of operating power of the generation station, allowed to provide high flexibility and optimize the equipment load of HPP-14 and increase energy supply reliability of consumers.

Perm HPP-14 is the second powerful station of OJSC “Territorial generating company No.9” in Perm region. The installed electric power of HPP is 330 megawatt and heat power is 941 giga calorie/hour. The enterprise fully provides with heat and electric energy citizens and enterprises of Kirovsky district of Perm.
