OREANDA-NEWS  On 05 September was announced, that in Federal Agency for Management of Special Economic Zones the meeting of head of RusSEZ A. A. Alpatov with head of committee of international trade development of Singapore (IE Singapore ) Mr. Chong lit by the Cheongom was held.

The committee of international trade development of Singapore (IESingapore ) under the Ministry of industry and trade of Singapore, which presented Mr Cheong, the international trade of Singapore and to help Singapore companies in search of official partners and development with them cooperation, directly through investment in the foreign entities is called upon to develop. According to Mr. Cheonga at present the greatest interest for Singapore potential investors represent Russian special economic zone, these is why main subject of meeting became the discussion of significant changes in development of them over recent years.

The Singapore party was informed on procedure of registration of SEZ residents, on fields of activity registered in the SEZ of foreign residents, benefits and preferences, provided by the law of the Russian Federation for SEZ residents. Problem on the project of Russian-Singaporean agreement on avoidance of double taxation was also touched upon.

In conclusion of meeting A. A. Alpatov told about future plans of special economic zones development and prospects of joint mutually advantageous cooperation.
