Mikhailovsky Flour Mill to Store about 400 Tonnes of New-Crop Oats
OREANDA-NEWS On 05 September was announced, that Mikhailovsky flour mill accepted for storage about 400 tonnes of new-crop oats. In the nearest time partners of the mill will continue shipping oats for storage, according to Vadim Murunov, Director of the enterprise. Currently, arable units resumed harvesting, which was virtually interrupted by rains in late August, and are conducting underworking of oats.
Mikhailovsky flour mill also purchased over 1.5 thousand tonnes of new-crop wheat grain from the arable units. It should be noted that all wheat is third grade; the grain is characterized by high gluten content.
Collaboration of the Mikhailovsky mill and nearby arable enterprises develops in multiple directions. At present these enterprises are using heavy-duty trucks of the mill for carrying away grain.
The wide range of services and advantageous financial terms of purchasing new-crop grain that the mill offers to its partners are partly due to the support provided by PAVA. The flour mill is integrated in the structure of this company, which is the largest grain processor in Altay region. OJSC PAVA is among 3 leaders of the industry in Russia. Following the results of 2007 when PAVA sent 17% of total exported flour to the countries of far and near abroad, Ministry of Economic Development and Trade granted PAVA the status of Best Exporter of the Industry. Owing to reliable reputation of a large, rapidly developing company, it is possible not only to allocate considerable internal funds for purchases of grain but also to attract credit to ensure purchase of raw materials.
