OREANDA-NEWS. September 3, 2008. The Board of Directors at its session held Tuesday took a decision to convene an extraordinary General Shareholders' Meeting on October 10, 2008 to discuss early termination of office of Igor Konovalov, and appointment of a new Director General. Roman Shevchenko, the company's IT Director since 2005, was appointed acting director general for the period September 3 to October 10. Igor Konovalov is set to take up the post of Board Chairman to focus on strategic management of the company.
