OREANDA-NEWS. September 01, 2008. Government will take into consideration interests of all branches of power when preparing draft law on 2009 State Budget. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko stated during a meeting concerning preparation of the draft 2009 State Budget. 

Yulia Tymoshenko noted that at present the Ministry of Finance had already prepared the first version of the draft 2009 State Budget. In particular, according to the Head of Government, macro activities are formed, budget revenues calculated, priority and social expenditures counted. 

The PM noted that this is the first meeting on drafting the budget and added that later on 3-4 meetings would be held daily devoted to every ministry and with invited deputies of the profile committees.

In his turn, Finance Minister Viktor Pynzenyk presenting the previous version of the draft 2009 State Budget noted that this year the Government expects 245.3 billion UAH of general fund revenues of consolidated budget and for the following year 310 billion UAH are forecasted.

Viktor Pynzenyk said that next year it is expected to receive, in particular, from the State Tax Administration 104.3 billion UAH to budget revenues that is by 25% more as against this year; from the State Customs Service – 117.4 billion UAH – as compared with 2008 the increase should be 27%.   

Moreover, the Minister informed that main expenditures requiring most funds – is a social bloc (the most increase in expenditures take wages – about 28 billion UAH), energy bloc and bloc concerning local budgets.
