OREANDA-NEWS. September 02, 2008. Moldovan National Bank monetary reserves totaled USD1 bln. 762.81 mln. as of August 22, 2008, up USD 11.8 mln. (0.7%) against the previous week.

As of August 15, 2008, National Bank’s monetary reserves totaled USD 1 bln. 751.02 mln.

As of end-2007 National Bank’s monetary reserves amounted to USD 1 bln. 333.68 mln., as of the end of the first quarter of 2008 - USD 1 bln. 424.29 mln, as of the end of the first half of 2008 - USD 1 bln. 525.95 mln.

The historical maximum of USD 1 bln. was overcome in late August 2007, and the amount of USD 1.5 bln. was exceeded in late June 2008.
