Ingosstrakh’s Branch in Perm Insures the Ship Owned by OJSC Silvinit
OREANDA-NEWS. On 02 September 2008 was announced, that the Branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in Perm has insured the river-sea bulk carrier owned by OJSC Silvinit for the construction period. The insurance amount is RUR 454 mln 394 k.
The insurance covers such risks as damage or loss of the ship as the result of any threat actualized during the construction period, launch or trial voyage; damage or loss of the insured vessel as the result of defective construction of any part or parts of the ship; damages caused to third parties as the result of collision of the insured vessel with any other vessel and other.
Solikamsk 6801, the ship constructed by Verkhekamsky Shipbuilding Complex under the order placed by OJSC Silvinit was launched on August 19. This is the first sea bulk carrier with the tonnage of 6800 mt.
Currently, the Complex has embarked on the construction of the second bulk carrier that is expected to be launched in summer 2009. The universal type ship will be equipped with a unique navigation system.
