OREANDA-NEWS. On 01 September 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by the branches of Ingosstrakh incorporated in the Urals Regional Center (RC) in 1H 2008 amounts to RUR 872.260 mln, or 91% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 776.707 mln (+100.3%), including RUR 298.755 mln (+112%) in private insurance, RUR 446.181 mln (98.9%) in property insurance and RUR 11.77 mln (+80%) in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 95.553 mln (+40%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh under direct insurance contracts in 1H 2008 amounted to RUR 289.154 k, including RUR 78.193 mln in voluntary private insurance, RUR 143.283 mln in property insurance and RUR 0.125 mln in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 67.553 mln.

The most dynamic are for the branches of the Urals Recgional Center in 1H were voluntary health insurance, property and motor hull insurance.

The Urals Regional Center accounts for the branches of IJSC Ingosstrakh based in Sverdlovsk, Kurgan, Orenburg, Tyumen and Chelyabinsk Regions, in Perm Kray and in the Republic of Udmurtia.
