OREANDA-NEWS. On 29 August 2008 was announced, that the Russian government by the order of August, 25th has confirmed the structure of the committee for the fuel and energy sector and raw-material base reproduction, the governmental press-service informs. Vice-premier of the Russian Federation Igor Sechin is appointed the chairman of the committee. The Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation Sergey Shmatko became the vice-chairman of the committee.

The committee structure included the president of the Oil Transporting JSC “Transneft” Nikolai Tokarev, as well as the heads of “Gazprom” Alexey Miller, “LUKOIL” Vagit Alekperov, “Surgutneftegaz” Vladimir Bogdanov, “Rosneft” Sergey Bogdanchikov, “Gazpromneft” Alexander Dukov, “Russian Railways" Vladimir Yakunin and other fuel and energy sector, ministries’ and departments’ executives.
