OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2008 was announced, that the new stations called Dostoevskaya and Maryina Roshcha on the Lyublinskaya line of the Moscow Metro are to be commissioned in 2010.

The Moscow Metro will as well be prolonged to Zyablikovo township (south Moscow) in early 2010, Dmitry Gaev, head of the Moscow Metro, declared at a press conference on August 28.

“We have established an original record in commissioning the metro lines for the past two-and-a-half years, this is 16 km. We will proceed with the development at the same speed,” the head of the Moscow Metro noted.

Mr Gaev added that the development program of the Moscow Metro scheduled till 2015 would be approved in 2008.

“We plan to rail around 68 km of new lines of the Moscow Metro at the expense of the city budget,” the official said.

So, according to him, the metro will appear in Novokosino township (east Moscow) and Zhulebino neighbourhood (southeast Moscow) in 2011-2012.

“The Butovskaya line will be connected to the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line near the station Bitstevsky Park. The locals of Butovo will get an opportunity to rapidly reach not only the grey [Serpukhovsko-Timiryazevskaya] line but the Kaluzhsko-Rizhskaya line too,” Mr Gaev said and added that the construction of the third loop line of the Moscow Metro would be launched from the station Delovoy Tsentr [Business Centre] in 2011-2012.
