OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2008. Dneprospetstal has made a donation of UAH 500,000 to the fund created to help the flood victims of Western Ukraine and has also made available free holidays for children at the health and rehabilitation center 'CHAYKA', reported the press-centre of Dneprospetstal.

The charity drive was initiated by Daniel Valk, Chairman of the Board at DSS, during his meeting with Aleksandr Staruch, Acting Head of the Zaporozhye State Regional Administration. When the children's health and rehabilitation center is open to receive kids, they can accommodate up to 50 young residents. After August 15 200 children will be able to vacation there.

In addition, on August 4th and 5th, the Company will hold a charity marathon in which the DNEPROSPETSTSAL staff members will take part. The goal of the marathon is to collect funds and basic essentials.
