OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2008. The Department purpose is to ensure the effective development of Uzbekistan Airways cooperation with the aviation authorities of foreign countries, IATA, SkyTeam Airline Alliance and its airlines-members, other foreign airlines and their representative offices in Uzbekistan, reported the press-centre of Uzbekistan Airways.

The new subdivision includes three sections: the section of foreign affairs, IATA and SkyTeam alliance section and the Protocol-visa department. The principal tasks of the Department are development and realization of the main directions of Uzbekistan Airways international aviation policy.

The top priority task of the new Department is to coordinate the activity of the company’s departments which operate in the realization of the project of establishment of the Regional logistic center on the basis of Navoi Airport.
