Allianz ROSNO Life Sums Up Results of First Half of 2008
OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2008. The aggregate premium written by the Insurance Company Allianz ROSNO Life Ltd. in the first 6 months of 2008 equalled 217.527 mln. roubles, and payments amounted to 8.402 mln. roubles, reported the press-centre of ROSNO.
In the 1st half of 2008, Allianz ROSNO Life demonstrated 26% growth of insurance premium, as compared to the same period of the previous year. In the life insurance field, insurance premium equalled 198.767 mln roubles, showing a 28.4% increase. In the accident insurance field, the insurance premium written equalled 18.760 mln roubles, representing a 6.5% increase.
In the 1st half of 2008, Allianz ROSNO Life paid clients 3.821 mln roubles under the life insurance contracts and 4.581 mln roubles under the accident insurance contracts. At the end of the said reporting period, the company’s assets equalled 917.478 mln roubles, indicating a 43.89% increase versus the end of the same period of 2007. The reserves of Allianz ROSNO Life reached 457.368 mln roubles. Equity is 283.026 million roubles. Authorized capital is 111.277 million roubles.

Our management team has been complemented with new strong professionals, including those from ROSNO, and our client base has expanded significantly, as evidenced by the new business results in retail insurance. In the second half of the year, Allianz ROSNO Life will continue pursuing the set objectives.
Aside from the development of sales channels and technologies, we plan to actively improve the currently offered insurance products and elaborate new insurance products aimed at satisfaction of interests and needs of various client groups".
