OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by the branch of Ingosstrakh in Perm in 1H 2008 amounts to RUR 72.560 mln, or 155% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 57.941 mln (+149%), including RUR 2.469 mln (+164%) in private insurance, RUR 54.404 mln (+148%) in property insurance and RUR 1.068 mln (+167%) in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 14.619 mln (+185%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh in Perm under direct insurance contracts in January-June amounted to RUR 43.233 mln, including RUR 0.538 mln in voluntary private insurance, RUR 29.667 mln in property insurance, and RUR 0.018 mln in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 13.010 mln.

The most dynamic areas of business for the Perm Branch of IJSC Ingosstrakh in 1H were travel insurance, motor hull and freight insurance.
