OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by the branches of Ingosstrakh incorporated in the Privolzhie Regional Center (RC) in January-June 2008 amounts to RUR 1 281 041 k, or 126% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 1 083 708 k (+180%), including RUR 121 662 k (+168%) in private insurance, RUR 889 921 k (+170%) in property insurance and RUR 72 125 k (+527%) in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 197 333 k (+9%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh in the Privolzhie Region under direct insurance contracts in January-June 2008 amounted to RUR 660 568 k, including RUR 47 524 k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 463 782 k in property insurance and RUR 3 667 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 145 595 k.
