OREANDA-NEWS. On 28 August 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by the branches of Ingosstrakh incorporated in the Far East Regional Center (RC) in 1H 2008 amounts to RUR 390 052 k, or 13% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 239 532 k (+8%), including RUR 37 874 k in private insurance, RUR 144 606 k and RUR 57 053 k in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 150 520 k.

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh under direct insurance contracts over the reporting period 2008 amounted to RUR 147 875 k, including RUR 9 525 k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 35 024 k in property insurance and RUR 5 560 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 97 777 k.

The Far East Regional Center accounts for the branches of IJSC Ingosstrakh based in Primorsky Kray and Khabarovsk Kray, in Amur, Kamchatka, Magadan and Sakhalin Regions, in Chukotka Autonomous Region and Jewish Autonomous Region and in the Republic of Sakha.
