OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2008. No cases of misappropriation have been uncovered within the Transport and Communications Ministry system in the course of flood repairs in West Ukraine, Transport and Communications Minister Yosyp Vinskyi told a press conference at the Cabinet of Ministers.

He noted that the majority of companies engaged in the repair efforts are functioning at the cost their own working capitals.

The control and audit department of the transport ministry has wound up its two-week check on all West Ukrainian facilities, and all attempts at compensation of false damage will be suppressed, Vinskyi emphasized.
