OREANDA-NEWS. August 27, 2008. The Government will continue to finance overhaul of educational establishments in flood-hit regions after September 1 as well. Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Tymoshenko told opening the Government’s sitting.

Yulia Tymosheko stated that all educational establishments within the flood-hit zone would start operating on September 1. But, according to the Head of Government, they are in extremely critical state and need a significant overhaul.

“The Government after September 1 as well will finance very deep processes in bringing order to the system of preparing educational establishments in flood-hit regions,” the Prime Minister stressed.

Yulia Tymoshenko noted that complete reconstruction, overhaul and, probably, building of new schools should be the second Government’s priority after granting aid to the citizens in reconstructing dwelling houses which had suffered from the natural disaster.
