OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2008. National Bank’s currency reserves totaled US 1 bln 730.9 mln, InfoMarket Agency was informed at the National Bank of Moldova.

As of the end of 2007, National Bank’s currency reserves totaled US 1 bln. 333.68 mln, as of the end of I quarter of 2008 - US 1 bln. 424,29 mln., as of the end of I half of 2008 - US bln. 525.95 mln.

The level of US 1 bln. was exceeded in late August 2007 and the level of US 1.5 bln – in late June 2008.
