OREANDA-NEWS. On 27 August 2008 was announced, that according to preliminary statements, the aggregate written premium on direct insurance contracts entered by Ingosstrakh branches coordinated by the Southern Regional Center (SoRC) in 1H 2008 amount to RUR 684 668 k, or 86% higher than in the same period of Year 2007.

The size of written premium in voluntary insurance other than life insurance was reported to amount RUR 560 680 k (+110.0%), including RUR 62 316 k (+110.0%) in private insurance, RUR 467 365k (+110.0%) in property insurance and RUR 30 999  k (+70%) in liability insurance. The size of written premium in compulsory motor third party liability insurance was RUR 123 988 k (+21%).

The payments made by IJSC Ingosstrakh under direct insurance contracts in 1H 2008 amounted to RUR 294 543 k, including RUR 29 777k in voluntary private insurance, RUR 180 638 k in property insurance, and RUR 3 043 k in voluntary liability insurance. Compulsory motor third party liability insurance payments made amounted to RUR 81 085 mln.

The authority of the Southern Regional Center covers the branches of Ingosstrakh based in Astrakhan, Volgograd, Krasnodar, Maikop, Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol and Elista.
