Grigory Marchenko informed the President on prospects for the development of the Regional Financial Centre оf Almaty, situation on housing market and possibilities of financing infrastructure projects, particularly in energy and sphere of highways construction.

At a press briefing Grigory Marchenko informed that issues on external debt banks servicing, their liquidity and access of the Kazakhstani banks to external markets were discussed during the meeting. According to his words, "Halyk Bank raised 300 million US dollars syndicated loan. It proves that capital markets are not closed for Kazakhstani banks. On the whole, the President appreciated the work of our bank”.
