OREANDA-NEWS. On August 21, 2008 Elena Troitskaya has been appointed Manager of the Saint Petersburg branch of BTA Bank, who earlier was Deputy Manger of the Saint Petersburg branch of Svyaz-Bank. The Manager will be in charge of solving administrative and operational issues as well as business development issues, reported the press-centre of BTA Bank.

Commenting on her appointment Elena Troitskaya noted that she had got interested in projects and ambitious plans of BTA Bank in Saint Petersburg aimed at developing retail business. In particular, within a year BTA Bank intends to substantially expand its subsidiary net by opening 20 new points of sale.

Elena Troitskaya was born on March 13, 1961 in Leningrad. In 1984 she graduated the Leningrad Mountain Institute named after G.V. Plekhanov with a specialization in economics and organization of metallurgic industry with a qualification as Engineer-Economist.

She started her career in the banking area in 1993 as an accountant at the North Trade Bank. Since 1993 till 1998 she worked as an accountant and then as head of the Novoizmailovskoe and Rubin branch offices of OJSC JSB “Inkombank”. Since 1998 till 1999 she headed the operational division at Baltoneximbank, then she managed operational activity as Vice President at OJSC “International Bank of Saint Petersburg”, being a member of the Board and Chairman of the Technological Committee of the Bank.

In April, 2005 she was appointed Advisor to the President of Sviaz-Bank, since July, 2005 she was Deputy Manager of the Saint Petersburg branch of the Bank. Since April, 2007 she occupied the position of the Vice President at Sviaz-Bank.
