OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2008. OJSC “Company “M.video” (RTS, MICEX: MVID) announces the opening of the chain’s first hypermarket in Nefteyugansk (Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district, Western Siberia).

The new store accounts to more than 2300 sq.m. of total space, has more than 20 000 SKUs of consumer electronics and digital products and as much as 7000 media products. The pre-opening costs amounted to 55 million roubles.

Up to date M.video group operates 3 hypermarkets in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district: in Khanty-Mansiysk, Surgut and Nefteyugansk. M.video anticipates the opening of two more hypermarkets in Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district by the end of 2008.

The company confirms its plans to open up to 40 new stores in 2008.
