OREANDA-NEWS. On 26 August 2008 was announced, that specialists from OJSC PAVA and their partners entered into first contracts for new crop purchases. Subsidiaries and structural subdivisions of the company receive wheat and grey crops – rye, barley, oats.

Experts of the company note that yields of the grain crops on the already cultivated areas are a little lower (approximately 4 – 5%) than last year; however, first harvests show that Altay growers produced quality grain: the main bulk of the harvested product is no lower than third grade, with high gluten content.

Unfortunately, rains made the harvesting campaign a little more difficult and its pace has slightly slowed down. However, experience of the Altay grain growers and the technical upgrade of the arable units going on for several years now, allow to declare with certainty that all difficulties of harvest in the Altay Region will be dealt with successfully. The arable enterprises receive support in the campaign from the largest Altay grain processor OJSC PAVA. For several years in a row, a number of divisions in the company have implemented credit programmes for their partners in crop production. Grain reception enterprises and flour mills provide transport vehicles for their partners for carrying away grain, render services of its drying and underworking. Moreover, grain reception on all subsidiaries and structural subdivisions of PAVA is arranged with maximum comfort for partners. This approach to business gives an opportunity for rapid development of the company, allows to achieve success. Thus, following the results of 2007, when the company shipped 17% of the total volume of exported flour to the countries of Near and Far abroad, Russian Ministry of Economic Development and Trade declared PAVA Best Exporter of the industry.
