Leningrad NPP and Sosnovy Bor Starts to Build Houses for Servicemen
OREANDA-NEWS. August 26, 2008. The head of the Administration of Sosnovy Bor Dmitry Pulyayevsky, the commander of the troops of the North-Western Regional Command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, Lieut. Gen.P.Dashkov and the deputy director of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant A.Kostin gave an official start to the construction of a five-storied apartment house for the servicemen of the North-Western Regional Command of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia ensuring the safety of Leningrad Nuclear Power Plant.
Representatives of the general contractor, clergymen and the beneficiary families attended the ceremony.
The project is to last for one year. The house will have 30 two-room and three-room apartments with an average area of 90 sq m.
Dashkov and Pulyayevsky said that this house was the first step of the large-scale project to build housing for the families of servicemen. Pulyayevsky pointed out that the authorities of Sosnovy Bor were considering the possibility of allocating land for a 300-apartment house for servicemen. “We are planning to build almost 1,000 apartments for men of different crops,” he said.
