VVC Will Hold Russian National Exhibition in India
OREANDA-NEWS. On 25 August 2008 was announced, that a Russian National Exhibition to be held in November 25-28 in the India Expo Centre EXPO XXI is about to become one of the major events during the Year of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India.

The exhibition is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
The exhibition operator is: State Joint-Stock Company All-Russian Exhibition Center OJSC (GAO VVC).
The exhibition sponsors are: Vnesheconombank, Gazprombank OJSC.
The motto of the exhibition is "Russia and India: from constructive dialogue to effective cooperation".
The exhibition as aimed at promotion of further development and strengthening of the trade and economic relations between India and Russia, diversification of forms and directions of cooperation between India and Russia in the social and humanitarian fields, strengthening of business and cultural relations between the two countries.
The cooperation between India and Russia is based on the national interests concurrence and is performed in accordance with Declaration on the Strategic Partnership of India and Russia as well as Joint Declaration on Strengthening and Expanding of Economic, Scientific and Technological Cooperation.
Subjects of the exhibition: energetics, commercial aviation, railway services, metallurgy, mineral resource industry, automotive industry, construction, information technologies and telecommunications, food industry, small and medium businesses, medicine, education, engineering services, Russian investment projects, marketing and tourist services etc.
Area of the Russian National Exhibition will be about 7,000 m2. The exposition will consist of three sections:
• Introductory section – the carte-de-visite of Russia (“Discover Russia”, a photo exhibition, graphical and photographic materials on trade and economic cooperation, investment cooperation and technological partnership between India and Russia.
• “Innovations” – this section is formed in association with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Federal Agency for Science and Innovation, Federal Education Agency, Russian Academy of Sciences, Federal Space Agency, Government Corporation on Atomic Power, Federal Bio-Medical Agency, Joint-Stock Financial Corporation Sistema OJSC.
A cooperation in the field of innovations as well as new technologies and developments, prospective innovative projects for different industries are to be presented in the section.
• “Export Potential of Russia and India”- this section is formed by the governing bodies of federal districts and constituents of the Russian Federation, branch ministries and agencies.
The latter include joint expositions of Republic of Dagestan and Sakha (Yakutia), Altai, Krasnoyarsk, Perm and Stavropol Territories, Volgograd, Voronezh, Irkutsk, Kaliningrad, Kirov, Leningrad, Nizhni Novgorod, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Orenburg, Penza, Rostov, Samara, Saratov, Tver, Ulyanovsk, Chelyabinsk and Yaroslavl Regions, Moscow, Khanty-Mansiisk autonomous district – Ugra.
Competitive products of Russian manufacturers representing current lines of trade and economic cooperation between the two countries are to be shown in the section.
Within the regional expositions, the leading Russian companies, such as the State Unitary Enterprise Production Association URALVAGONZAVOD, Chelyabinsky Traktorny Zavod – URALTRAK LLC, Voronezhselmash OJSC will show whole spectrum of the modern road-building and agricultural machinery produced.
Concern Sozvezdie OJSC, Voronezh mechanical plant and Electrosignal OJSC will demonstrate the state-of-the-art developments and high-end technology in field of radio electronics industry, equipment for troops and military weapon control as well as the civilian industry products.
The whole complex of services in the field of oil-and-gas and power facilities construction, oil and finding and producing, production and sales of oil products and petrochemistry products will be represented by such companies as Rosneft OJSC, Stroytransgas OJSC, Giprotyumenneftegaz OJSC, Financial Industrial Company (FPK) Cosmos-Neft-Gaz LLC, Liskymontazhkonstruktsiya CJSC.
The leading Higher Educational Institutions in Russia will demonstrate their educational programs on several subjects adapted for foreign students.
The major representatives of the financial circles have shown great interest for this exhibition, including Vnesheconombank, Gazprombank OJSC, AFK Sistema OJSC.
Within the business program of the exhibition there are a number of important events like “India-Russia: Problems, Experience and Perspectives of the Innovative development” (a Russian-Indian forum), “Economical Cooperation Between Russia and India – a Ground for Strategic Partnership” (conference), “Priority Areas of the Cooperation between Russia and India on Transport Infrastructure and Logistics Market Development” (conference), “Cooperation between Russia and India in the Field of Atomic Power Stations Construction” (roundtable), “Innovative Potential of Volga Region” (conference of the Volga federal district).
The “Partner” program of the Russian National Exhibition is expected to be attended by ten thousand of specialists. Bilateral meetings held within this program will provide the most favorable conditions for the business negotiations and the partnership establishment between representatives of Indian business community and Russian companies that are interested in the mutually beneficial co-operation.
The partner of business program and the “Partner” program from the Indian side is Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
