OREANDA-NEWS. On August 22, 2008 Metinvest Eurasia launched another retail sale outlet in Krasnodar with fixed rolled metal stock of 8,000 tons, reported the press-centre of Metinvest.

The sales outlet offers the range of products made by Azovstal Steel Plant, Yenakiyevo Steel Plant, and Makeyevka Steel Plant: bars with diameter of 8-40mm, I-beams of 10-40mm, angles of 45-200mm, and channels of 10-30mm.

Minimum dispatch amount is 1 ton. Also, the customers can make an individual request for ex works consignments of up 1 railway car.

General Director of Metinvest Eurasia Dmitriy Baranov said "the Southern area has been traditionally attractive for us due to optimal logistics of supplies, and also because key assets of Russian long products producers are located in Siberia and the Urals".

As reported earlier, the company launched warehouses in Moscow, St.Petersburg, Taganrog, and Belgorod in early 2008.
