OREANDA-NEWS. On 22 August 2008 was announced, that aable unit Allac PLC (Kamensky district of the Altay Territory), integrated in the structure of PAVA company, the largest grain processor of Siberia and the Far East, started sowing winter crops.

At present, the planted area is 130 ha of winter rye. Seeds of elite sorts “Chulpan” and “Vlada” were bought for the campaign. Both sorts are short-stemmed, resistant to lodging. Overall, the unit plans to sow 1,5 thousand ha of winter rye. The campaign is conducted with new machinery – Canadian seeder unit “Morris”.

Alexander Malyuk, Allac PLC Director comments: “Rainy weather causes a little delay in the field operations. But we hope to finish the sowing campaign of winter rye in time”.
