ROSNO Insures OKey Retail Chain Hypermarkets for Over 615 mln Roubles
OREANDA-NEWS. August 21, 2008. ROSNO’s North-Western Directorate has concluded insurance contracts covering property and civil liability of two hypermarkets of the leading federal retail chain OKey, located in St. Petersburg and Krasnodar. The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 615,426,810 roubles, the press-centre of ROSNO reported.
The hypermarkets’ property (buildings, including furnishing, ventilation and air conditioning systems, as well as window glass, mirrors, showcases, and glass partitions) has been insured for the total insurance amount of over 586 million roubles. The insurance coverage includes the following risk package: fire, lightning stroke, explosion, aircraft impact, storm and hail, flood, earthquake, soil subsidence, mudslide, landslide, damage by water from water supply systems, and deliberate third-party actions.
The contract also contemplates the company’s civil liability for the damage inflicted to life, health and/or property of beneficiaries due to unintentional negligence (errors or omissions), defects in, or specific features of, the materials, equipment, tools used by the insurant, or other events stipulated in the legislation of the Russian Federation. The aggregate insurance amount under the stores’ civil liability insurance contracts exceeds 28 million roubles.
