OREANDA-NEWS. On 21 August 2008 was announced, that on August 19, amid massive sell-outs the PFTS index dipped 2% to 629 points, UFC Capital analysis said.

As we expected the indicator rapidly broke through the lower limit of the weak ascending channel, thus confirming its inability. As to the sectoral indices, yesterday, the most noticeable decline had UFC Metals, which collapsed 5.6%. The less decline had UFC Utilities and UFC Engineering, which lost 1.3% and 1.9%, accordingly.

The majority of watched by us securities went down yesterday, but for the time being there is no massive break-through of their positions. The only security that we would like to highlight is BAVL, which again returned to the mark of USD 0.15.
