OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2008. Under the auspices of the Russian national project, ROSNO’s Krasnodar branch has held a conference "Innovation Approaches to Construction Risks Management" for the construction industry professionals, the press-centre of ROSNO reported.

The main purpose of the conference is to present a unique and exhaustive information on any issue related to insurance of construction and assembly works and commissioning works, financial risks incurred in the construction sector, damage evaluation, and the claim processing procedure.

Along with ROSNO representatives, among the conference speakers were the acting head of the financial and stock market department of the Krasnodarsky Kraj Mr. Andrey Aksyonov, deputy head of the construction works control division in the construction department of the Krasnodarsky Kraj Mr. Vyacheslav Kamensky, and general manager of the specialized international loss settlement agency Cunningham Lindsey, Mr. Andrey Bogachev.

Mr. Roman Kapshitar, head of ROSNO’s Corporate Sales Management Centre, provided examples of losses incurred in course of performance of the construction and assembly works. He also explained the benefits of insuring the construction and assembly risks, and told about insurance volume and the terms of insurance protection.

Mr. Denis Kuzavlev, deputy CEO and head of the Corporate Sales Management Centre of OJSC ROSNO, explained the basic principles and peculiarities of insuring the construction and assembly works, and told about insurance of liability to third parties incurred in course of performance of the construction and assembly works.

Mr. Andrey Bogachev told managers of the construction companies about the major stages of loss settlement in case of insurance of the construction and assembly risks, principles of risk assessment and damage evaluation.

The reports made by the speakers aroused great interest in the conference participants who asked questions related to the legislation applicable to the construction and assembly works and to the advantages of obtaining insurance coverage in ROSNO.
