OREANDA-NEWS. August 20, 2008. The Chuvashia branch of ROSNO’s Privolzhskaya Directorate has concluded three contracts for insurance coverage of river boats for over 11 mln. roubles in total. The insured boats belong to two Cheboksary-based companies and one private individual, the press-centre of ROSNO reported.

The premium-class pleasure yacht, built in 2005, and the racing craft, built in 2008, are fully protected by insurance coverage against the following risks: total loss of the boat, including rescue costs, damage, shipowner’s liability, etc. One vessel has been insured for 1,700,000 roubles, with the other been insured for 3,560,000 roubles.

Another premium-class pleasure yacht, built in 2007, has been covered by the river boat hull insurance for 6,115,875 roubles. These insurance contracts will be valid for one year (for the duration of navigation and anchorage period).

The aggregate contractual insurance amount is 11,375,875 roubles.
