OREANDA-NEWS. On 20 August 2008 was announced, that experts of “PiterGorproject” Ltd. have proceeded to work over the project on expansion of extraction of ferruginous quartzite at the Gubkin mine by 1 million tons.

The current technical project of the Gubkin mine is rated at extraction of 3 million 875 thousand tons of ferruginous quartzite. In connection with expansion of volumes of output a necessity to correct the present project emerged. Experts of “PiterGorproject” Ltd., who has already proceeded to execution of the project on development of new areas of deposit for maintenance of mine capacity till 2012 at the level of 4 million 800 thousand tons per annum, are invited to the complex.
