OREANDA-NEWS. On August 19, 2008 By the results of stock trades on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) KASE index decreased by 12.99 points (0.6 %) from 2.122.97 to 2.109.98, the press-centre of KASE reported.

The first deal of the day locked in the index value on the level of 2.130.05. During the trades, maximal value of the index was registered at the level of 2.141.70, and minimal - at 2.109.98.

On August 19, the volume of deals with shares, included in the representative list of the index, decreased in tenge terms by 3.7 times comparing to the previous day and made KZT149.2 m. (USD1,242.5 th.).
