OREANDA-NEWS. August 18, 2008. S7 Airlines, Russia’s largest air carrier by number of transported passengers on domestic routes, announced the launch of sales of electronic tickets (e-tickets) on new routes, reported the press-centre of S7 Airlines.

Electronic tickets can now be purchased on flights departing from Varna and Burgas (Bulgaria), Osha (Kyrgyzstan), and Ekaterinburg.

S7 Airlines is actively expanding sales of electronic tickets on new routes. The technology is currently being used on 90% of the company’s flights. The tickets are accepted in 64 cities of the S7 Airlines route network comprising 33 Russian and 31 foreign cities. During the 2008-2009 winter flight schedule, S7 Airlines plans to transfer fully to electronic ticket technology.
